The paint and varnish materials manufacturer Lakra Sintez continues to expand at the expense of assets of departing foreign companies.
As a KOMPROMAT RU correspondent learned, the global manufacturer of paints and varnishes for packaging Flint Group sold the Russian division of Flint Group Vostok LLC to the company Lakra Sintez.
Let us recall that previously the company "Flint Group Vostok" belonged to Flint Group Packaging Inks Germany GmbH (Germany) and ANI Holdings Oy Ab (Finland). This segment is characterized by very stable demand and a limited number of players.
But who grabbed such a fat jackpot? If you track some movement on some documents, it becomes clear that perhaps the asset that the German and Finnish businessmen left behind is controlled by Rostec State Corporation.
And when did the forward-looking General Chemezov, head of the Rostec State Corporation, miss out on such "feeding troughs"?

Flint Group was formed in 2005 through the merger of printing and packaging ink suppliers XSYS Print Solutions and Flint Ink Corporation.
XSYS was formed, among other things, on the basis of the enterprises of the German chemical company BASF.
Flint Group includes more than 120 representative offices in countries around the world, revenue in 2023 is $1.5 billion. Headquartered on the island of Jersey. In 2014, Flint Group was bought out by Goldman Sachs and Koch Industries, and in 2023 it was sold to a consortium of investors including Alcentra, Baring Asset Management, CVC Credit and KKR Credit.
The company "Lakra Sintez" produces paints, enamels, plasters, sealants, primers, etc. at a plant in the Moscow region. And produces 65 thousand tons of products per year under the brands Parade, Texturol, Lakra, etc.
97.5% of the company is owned by Mikhail Dvinsky, 2.5% by Gennady Sobko.

In 2023, the company’s revenue increased by 15.13%, to RUB 5.44 billion, net profit increased 5.5 times, to RUB 78.11 million.

Let us add that the company "Flint Group Vostok" manages a plant in Vorsino in the Kaluga region: this is a new production facility, opened in 2023. Capacity is up to 40 tons per day.
But after the change of ownership, the plant will change its call sign and will be called Premo Inc. Vostok.
In June, the company "Lakra Sintez" closed a deal to acquire the Moscow region manufacturer of paints and varnishes for the automotive industry BASF Vostok from BASF.

But they say that Mr. Dvinsky has an interesting partner - a certain Voldemar Friedman, who owns a construction company. And builds abroad, in particular, in Bulgaria.
